MSI GP66 Leopard Price in Nepal, There are many gaming laptops available in Nepal if you’re looking for one. MSI’s GP66 Leopard has been around for a while, but you can now get one with the latest 11th generation processor.
Among the gaming laptops sold by MSI are lightweight devices under the “GF” lineup and high-end products under the “GP” and “GE” series. For almost a month, I’ve used the GP66 Leopard.
As a result, we are going to look at the features, specs, price, and availability of the MSI GP66 Leopard in Nepal.
MSI GP66 Leopard Overview:
Design
Although the GP66 is quite a chunky design, MSI manages to keep its weight down by using a plastic and aluminum hybrid material. At 2.38 kg, it actually weighs less than the Omen 15 I reviewed recently.
Although the GP66 doesn’t get the RGB encasement of the more expensive MSI GE76 Raider, I find that to be fine. Coming from the M1 MacBook Pro, this isn’t easily portable for me.
Display
In addition, The ultra-fast 165Hz refresh rate panel and 2560×1440 resolution let you see every detail in games. However, the newer GP66 Leopard (11UG) has a 240Hz display.
In addition to offering better color coverage with 100% DCI-P3, MSI promises 72% DCI-P3 and “close-to 100% sRGB” color space on its FHD models.
Throughout my usage, this screen has performed well for me. The colors appear saturated, while the laptop’s 291 nits of peak brightness ensures it remains visible at all times.
Performance and Memory
In terms of performance, the 11UE models are powered by the 11th-gen Intel Core i7-11800H processor. It has a base frequency of 2.2GHz and a maximum turbo frequency of 5.0GHz.
In the 11UG, the GPU is a powerful RTX 3080 that comes with 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM and can utilize up to 140W of power with Dynamic Boost.
All three laptops feature MSI’s Cooler Boost 5 technology, which consists of two fans and up to six heat pipes, GP66 laptops come with 16GB of DDR4 RAM, but you can upgrade them yourself up to 64GB, and you won’t need to worry about storage as 1TB SSD will be included.
Keyboard
MSI has teamed up with SteelSeries to bring you a per-key RGB keyboard on the GP66 Leopard. You can customize the lighting, too, selecting from pre-loaded presets or tweaking the individual keys.
I wish the backlighting were better, as you can clearly see that the secondary shortcut engravings don’t light up as well.
Audio
Using the exclusive MSI Center, you can monitor, adjust, optimize and customize your MSI laptop to suit your personal preferences. It offers maximum flexibility with new functions such as Smart Image Finder and UI Skin option.
Rest of the specs
There are four ports on the GP66 (11UG): one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort, three Type-A, Ethernet, SD card, and HDMI. However, the GP66 (11UG) has a larger 65Wh battery that must be juiced up with a 280W AC adapter.
In addition to its outstanding throughput and low latency, the latest Wi-Fi 6E delivers stunning speed, while keeping the network smooth and stable even when lots of users are using the network at the same time.
